Prayers That Stick began with a simple question we couldn’t shake: What if prayer didn’t fade once the moment passed?
We’ve all said “I’m praying for you” with the best intentions—yet we also know how quickly words can disappear in the middle of hard seasons, busy days, or long nights. We wanted to create a way for prayer to become something tangible… something that could be held, revisited, and felt again and again.
Prayers That Stick was created to help people show up for one another with intention. It invites friends and family to write heartfelt prayers and messages by hand, send them over time, and gather them into a keepsake journal. As the pages fill, the journal becomes a living reminder of God’s faithfulness and the people He uses to surround us with love.
We’ve seen these journals serve as anchors during illness, sources of comfort during grief, and celebrations of joy at life’s milestones. They’re returned to on hard days and treasured on hopeful ones—because they hold more than words. They hold prayer, presence, and community.
Prayers That Stick exists because we believe prayer matters.
And when it’s written, shared, and saved, it truly sticks.
For those who are new to Prayers That Stick, we’re so glad you’re here and would be honored to be part of your story in the seasons ahead. And to those who have walked with us and supported this ministry along the way—thank you. Your encouragement, prayers, and support mean more than we can say. None of this would be possible without you.
With gratitude,
Cynthia & Tiffany
The Heart Behind Prayers That Stick
Prayers That Stick really began with a friend. She was walking through something heavy — the kind of season where there aren’t easy answers, and there aren’t the right words. She asked for space to process it all. And we wanted to respect that. But we also didn’t want to disappear.
We wanted her to know we cared. That we were thinking about her. That we were praying — specifically, intentionally, faithfully — even if we weren’t sitting in the same room. So we sent her a journal.
Then we quietly reached out to ten women and asked if they would write handwritten prayers for her over a few months — something she could hold onto when the days felt long. Each prayer was mailed back and added to her journal, one by one.
She could open it when she was ready.
On her timeline.
In her space.
No pressure to respond.
No need to perform strength.
Just page after page of women surrounding her in prayer.
That journal became a quiet reminder that even in solitude, she wasn’t alone.
And that’s when we knew — this needed to exist for more people.
Prayers That Stick was born from the desire to show up in a way that’s gentle but lasting. To give prayer a place to live. To create something someone can reach for long after the texts stop coming and the casseroles are gone.
Because sometimes the most powerful way to show up is to make sure your prayers stay.
Prayerfully,
Cynthia & Tiffany
