Purpose

Prayers That Stick really began with a friend. She was walking through something heavy — the kind of season where there aren’t easy answers, and there aren’t the right words. She asked for space to process it all. And we wanted to respect that. But we also didn’t want to disappear.

We wanted her to know we cared. That we were thinking about her. That we were praying — specifically, intentionally, faithfully — even if we weren’t sitting in the same room. So we sent her a journal.

Then we quietly reached out to ten women and asked if they would write handwritten prayers for her over a few months — something she could hold onto when the days felt long. Each prayer was mailed back and added to her journal, one by one.

She could open it when she was ready.

On her timeline.

In her space.

No pressure to respond.

No need to perform strength.

Just page after page of women surrounding her in prayer.

That journal became a quiet reminder that even in solitude, she wasn’t alone.

And that’s when we knew — this needed to exist for more people.

Prayers That Stick was born from the desire to show up in a way that’s gentle but lasting. To give prayer a place to live. To create something someone can reach for long after the texts stop coming and the casseroles are gone.

Because sometimes the most powerful way to show up is to make sure your prayers stay.

Prayerfully,
